When I'm Sixty-Four

昨日１０月９日はJohnが生きていれば６４回目の誕生日となるはずの日でした。
上の写真はセント･アンドリューズ大学の学者による、Johnが生きていればこんな顔になっていたであろう、という６４歳のJohn Lennon。
ちょっとDustin Hoffmanっぽくないこともないな・・・


そういえばSgt.Peppersに「When I'm sixty-four」というPaulの曲があった。

When I get older losing my hair,
Many years from now.

Birthday greetings bottle of wine.
If I'd been out till quarter to three
